My first earrings creation

Yummy! I love the colors and the form...quite complimentary, colorful, fun yet bold and funky.

These are made of salmon color natural coral pebbles and turquoise teardrops wire-wrapped in gold-plated wire and finished with leverback earhooks. They are quite chunky and measure about 2 inches in length.

Enjoy the pictures! :)

Fresh off the kit!

So, considering the kit was for beginner (as I was one as well), it was quite basic with small glass and seed beads as well as some basic silver plated findings. Personally, I do like medium to large beads, as opposed to small beads or seed beads, but my excitement overcome all that the moment i opened the kit. I have always liked DIY and as a child, I always helped my dad with various tools, etc everytime he tried to fix the home grinder, or the telephone - so seeing the various tools like pliers and the cutters got me really excited !

So, in no time, I created two earrings and a necklace - with whatever I could find at my disposal.

Here are the pics. Enjoy!

How it all started!

Knowing that I was a sucker for arts, crafts and creativity, my husband gifted me with a jewelry making kit about 2 months ago, and from the moment I opened the kit, I was hooked!!! It actually made me happy :) I had such a great time creating those initial pieces, that I just could not stop. This is how it all started and hopefully there's no stopping!

I think it has been one of the best gifts so far - so thanks a ton hubby! :)
